Merry Monday, everyone! We made it home from vacation late last night and I’m having serious sunshine withdrawal. The holidays in Hawaii should be an annual thing, don’t you think?
We had a very Maui Christmas with loads of fun in the sun including a trip to Haleakala National Park to watch the sunrise over the clouds, a gorgeous 30-mile bike ride down a mountain, a muddy ATV adventure plus a swim in a freshwater pond, many hours of R&R poolside, too many cocktails to count, a seaside gemstone massage at the spa, the best seafood you’ve ever tasted and yes, a few shopping trips to boot. The trip flew by and I’m having trouble coming back to reality. I never want vacations to end! Here are a few pics of the trip plus more holiday happenings.
Hello lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far and staying warm. While these chilly winter temps have been pretty unbearable for many, we certainly can’t complain. We’ve been enjoying the wintry Texas weather, bundling up in our favorite flannels and such. Any excuse to wear our fur-lined gloves and double-breasted, belted pea coats is simply too perfect to pass up.
Fall has been pretty fabulous so far. With deliciously frothy lattes, cool and crisp mornings, and sunny afternoons, how can you not fall in love with this beautiful time of year? We’ve been spending lots of time with family and friends gearing up for the holidays. Gosh, we still can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving! In fact, pumpkin pie filling was on sale at Target this week… We stocked up!
