By now, you’re likely a month into accomplishing your 2018 resolutions, and then there’s me: incredibly indecisive, toying with lots of thoughts and ideas… not sure what to focus on or where to begin. If we’re being completely honest, I’ve put off the whole “New Year’s resolution” idea since the holidays. It’s no secret, 2017 was a doozie. And frankly, committing to something big and bold for 2018 scares me. But thankfully, things already seem brighter this year than last, giving me a renewed sense of energy and positivity for the year ahead.
Happy New Year! 2017, how did that happen? Guys I really can’t believe that 2016 has already come and gone. I know for many it was a pretty rough year but for me it was nothing but magic — all of which revolved around the birth of my son. And now he’s almost a year old! WHAT? So not ready for that. But I will say, it felt really good to relax and take a step back during the holidays. I spent a ton of quality time with those I love and even got away for a few days with my boys. And in the midst of all the celebration and holiday festivity, I also made some time to think about the year ahead.
Whoosh! How the days fly by – just like that it seems. There are others in my memory that seem to stand still, frozen in time. Friday was one of those days. It marks the beginning of a new year for me and was a day to reflect and a day to celebrate.
