When Dr. P and I got married, we started sending holiday cards every year. I love snail mail so much but the truth is, I suck at sending birthday cards and letters… it’s something I desperately want to do but I just can’t ever seem to get my act together on it. The funny thing is, I actually have a stockpile of cute cards; I just never remember to drop them in the mail in time! But if there’s one time of year when I can get my butt in gear and send pretty, personal gifts and heartfelt snail mail, it’s the holidays.
Yesterday I ordered my son’s first birthday invitations and sobbed like a schoolgirl. I know it’s cliche but I don’t care — WHERE DID THE TIME GO? This time last year I had a big ole’ bun in the oven. Little did I know then just how quickly 2016 would come and go. What a whirlwind of a year. And now we celebrate a whole new kind of holiday. One that doesn’t involve much glitz or sparkle, a night out on the town or fireworks or fancy dinner. This year, our holiday will be at home.
I always struggle with finding the right gifts for men in my life, so this year I did a little digging to find some unique gift ideas. I must admit, I’m having a lot of fun shopping for loved ones this season… there are so many great finds! If you’re on the hunt for the perfect present for your husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, friend, whoever, this guide has you covered. I’ve included 40 ideas… and all under $200! From the grill master and the coffee aficianado to the tech lover or the trendy, you’ll find everything you need from little trinkets for stocking stuffers and more substantial presents to place under the tree.
