When Dr. P and I got married, we started sending holiday cards every year. I love snail mail so much but the truth is, I suck at sending birthday cards and letters… it’s something I desperately want to do but I just can’t ever seem to get my act together on it. The funny thing is, I actually have a stockpile of cute cards; I just never remember to drop them in the mail in time! But if there’s one time of year when I can get my butt in gear and send pretty, personal gifts and heartfelt snail mail, it’s the holidays.
Who doesn’t love a gorgeous custom art print? Or what about a pretty personalized notebook where you can keep all your schedules, doodles, ideas and plans? I don’t know who wouldn’t, but I can tell you for sure someone who would – moms. Moms appreciate the special little details that make a gift so personal.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Not to burst your bubble, but to be honest, I don’t get that excited about this holiday. I’m not jaded, but my hubby and I really do not tend to celebrate this day, at least in the traditional sense of red roses, cards, candy and dinner in a romantic setting.
