Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did you use the extra hour to put yourself first? I hope so! I had a pretty low-key weekend but dragged myself out of my pajamas on Saturday morning for breakfast with a dear friend and a visit to the Sugar and Cloth Girl Crush Market — so many pretty things! It finally felt fallish in Texas so I opted for comfy casual peplum and denim for our date. We sipped lattes at Tout Suite and gave ourselves a little tasting menu for breakfast. It was a lovely start to the weekend.
Fall is my favorite season of the year, and although the Texas weather hasn’t quite taken a cold turn yet (we’re desperately waiting!) it feels nice to decorate for the festive months ahead. For me, that means a special trip to the nursery and pumpkin patch — it’s time for fall front porch decor!
It’s finally the weekend!! I don’t know about you, but when the weather turns a little cooler, I just want to spend more time in the kitchen cooking up warm delicious meals my family and I enjoy. But this time in the kitchen, my boys and I had a little more fun making some special Halloween treats I like to call Messy Monster Bars.
