Valentine’s Day is next week and while it’s usually a holiday that comes and goes without a ton of emphasis in our home (well, besides flowers… mama needs her flowers), this year we decided to do something different and special as a family — a Valentine’s picnic in the park! We packed up our new PackIt coolers and had so much fun being together outside, laughing and lounging around. Morgan was all about the sweets we set out and had a mouthful of sprinkles and icing pretty much the entire time. Can you blame him?! It was the most perfect reminder of what this holiday is all about: sharing your heart with those you love.

Packing for a picnic with a one-year-old in tow isn’t always the easiest of tasks, but I have to tell you that these PackIt coolers are actually pretty amazing! No ice packs, inserts or loose ice. Simply fold it up, stick it in the freezer and pull it out when you’re ready to pack up and go! I mean really, as a busy mom with a baby on my hip half the time, it doesn’t get much easier than that. How cute is the pattern on that wine tote? It’s part of their new pattern collection, which will be available online March 15! I bet we’ll use this wine tote all year long for date nights, parties or plans with friends (BYOB!). Plus, the freezable lunch bag will be perfect for summer trips to the zoo!

Because I’m in the lovey-dovey spirit for Valentine’s Day, I’m also spreading the love and giving you a chance to win one of these fun wine totes for yourself! Enter the giveaway below — I’ll announce the lucky winner next Wednesday, Feb. 15. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours! xo

We love our Packit cooler. We use it as a lunchbox for daycare since they do not have refrigerators in their rooms.

    • Perfect solution! I think we’ll use ours all the time.

    • Thanks Elyse! Yes, check them out — quality, practical products with fun prints!

  • Your family picnic looks like so much fun! How adorable are those coolers and the fact that I would not need an ice pack is the icing on the cake. :D I always forget to re-freeze the ice packs and then I don’t have anything to pack my lunch with the next day…

    • Right? I always forget to freeze them again or they freeze in the strangest positions and get all wonky in the cooler. This is the perfect solution!
