Winter Touches for the Home

This past weekend, we put up all the holiday decor. The tree went back in its box, the holly and berries came down from the fireplace. It’s always hard because I love how warm and cozy all of it makes my home feel during the holidays. The house often looks quite bare once it has all been packed away.

However, I love to transition into winter decor for my home and I usually have it out through Valentine’s Day. Keeping the evergreens, white candles and a little bit of sparkle still allows for the look that I love and it’s a good time to decide what can stay out and what needs to get packed away for next year’s holiday season.

Here’s a little inspiration to keep the cozy using evergreens, pine cones, candles, snowflakes and lights to shine in your home throughout the winter.

Isn’t this mantel gorgeous? I would keep it up all season long. And check out the adorable DIY No-Sew Banner. I don’t yet have a sewing machine, so this makes for a perfect project when I want to stay indoors on a chilly day. Brrrr!

Don’t forget – it’s “Make Your Dream Come True Day” today! I’m working on a big dream of mine currently, so stay tuned, updates to come soon I hope! What are you doing to make your dream come true?
