I love classic candlesticks – they’re pretty, create mood lighting and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Almost sounds like I’m talking about a little black dress. So much more than just for holding candles, candlesticks have proven themselves to be as viable and as versatile as the little black dress itself.
I have quite a few candlestick sets in my home. I love to decorate with them as the seasons change. Even more so, I have fallen in love with ways to actually use them! This post has transformed more into a DIY when I realized how to truly create functionality with a candlestick.
In the kitchen
For your jewels
For all the necessary ingredients
As an herb garden
For decluttering your counters
Aren’t these ideas brilliant? Some I hadn’t seen before and wanted to share a little creative inspiration with you. I want that mini herb garden for my kitchen! The fall season is filled with opportunities for cooking with herbs. These candlesticks are easy to put together, some require a little paint and heavy duty glue, but when you put the right pieces, you can create your own unique and functional candlestick! I have a few sets that I haven’t used in a while and plan to give them a makeover this fall season.
