Tea Time

In a few weeks, I’m throwing a tea party for one of my best friends. She’s getting married in March and what better way to celebrate her with love and laughter than at a simple, elegant bridal tea party. In preparation for the mid-day soiree, I’ve been shopping gifts for guests and tea time dresses for me. After all, this requires a pretty new number.

The tea will be held at a swanky little hotel that is known for hosting tea parties for belles and brides alike. It’s feminine and classy and just perfect. I couldn’t be more excited to host in her honor. We’ll have cute mini sandwiches, sweet treats, champagne — I just can’t wait!

Here are a few of the dresses I’ve had my eye on for tea time. Do I go with an adorable belted bright or a classic lace a-line? This pretty printed sheath or a vibrant shift? The bride is fun-loving, bubbly, smart, sophisticated, sassy and sweet. So I think any of these dresses will fit the party perfectly. The good news is that the weekend will be filled with more celebrations for the bride-to-be — including her bachelorette party and bridal shower. And with the weekend jam-packed with joy, it must require more than one new purchase.

Which tea time dress do you like best? Help me decide!
