It’s no secret that I’m not a DIYer by nature. While I love craft projects, I tend to steer clear of them for fear of burning my house down or cutting off a finger or something. Yet through R&R, I’ve learned just how much money I can save and how much fun I can have simply by creating something myself. Slowly but surely, I’m embracing the crafty side.
Over the weekend, I stumbled upon the Ruche holiday DIY guide and I have to admit that nearly every page of this booklet is perfection. A compilation by some of their favorite bloggers, the guide shares some of the most festive, fun and simple crafts to make this homemade holiday merry and bright.
I just love the mason jar series — they are so darling! And the cinnamon and herb wreaths are also a favorite. Can you imagine the divine wintry scents they must give off? Perfect for the entryway. Or how about those adorable washi tape gift tags? Those are definitely easy enough for me to handle. And since I adore anything with glitter, the New Year’s tinsel numbers left me inspired to make some of my own. Wouldn’t they be the perfect addition to my celebratory barware?
As we all get ready for the joyous week ahead, I just had to share this cheerful holiday DIY guide to make sure some of these items made it into your home this holiday. Some of the projects are great for little ones, too! Hoping we all find our inner DIY this holiday season. Happy crafting!
