A Lovely Little Placesetting

When we were shopping for items to add to our wedding registry, I knew I wanted to include a versatile and affordable everyday dinnerware. We wanted something durable (I’ve been known to break things) and we needed something classic that we would enjoy for many years. And after just one trip to the store, it was pretty clear we needed this set.

We paired the dishware with classic, heavy hammered flatware (similar to this) and some everyday Crate & Barrel glassware. In the end, we opted for 16 placesettings and I’m so glad we did–we don’t have to run the dishwasher as often!

The great part about these classic items is the versatility and ease in which we can dress them up or dress them down. By registering for some colorful napkins (like these, these and these), different styles of napkin rings, and both classic and fun placemats, it’s fun to play around with tablescape options and create lovely little placesettings for a quiet night at home or a dinner party with friends.

Stay tuned next week for a peek into our china cabinet… fancy placesettings!
