KidsCraftLetterE

Summertime often means moms hearing the dreaded “Mom, I’m bored!” speech. Bust their boredom blues with an easy and personalized DIY craft project. All you need is to take a quick trip to your local arts and crafts supply store.

Supplies you’ll need:

* 8 x 10 canvas
* Craft paint in your choice of color + paintbrush
* 3/4″ grosgrain ribbon
* Pack of crayons (the larger packs have greater shade ranges of colors depending on what you want)
* Hot glue gun
* Exacto knife

Step 1: Select your choice of color and paint the canvas. I chose a grassy green.

Step 2: Let the paint dry and begin to line up your crayons to form the initial desired. Parents: Carefully use the Exacto knife to trim any crayons needed to create your letter.

Step 3: Using the hot glue gun, glue the crayons in their position. Let everything dry completely.

Step 4: Hot glue an 8 – 10 inch strip of ribbon to the back of the canvas for easy hanging.

Step 5: Enjoy your new artwork!
