As a little girl, I remember always getting the free gift-with-purchase items that my mom would get from the Clinique makeup counter. The fun, colorful bag filled with lotions and potions, different shades of lipstick (that would be far too dark for me today, let alone a 10-year-old), blush palettes and more. This love of makeup has stuck with me since those early years — though I’ve pared it down to 5-minutes most days. And I’ve learned that it’s what’s underneath the makeup that requires the most care. Today, taking good care of my skin while using quality, healthy products is more critical than ever.
Happy Friday — and happy holidays, friends! I’m so excited to share this post with all of you. I’ve written about our kitchen before and as our family has grown, the smaller size and limited storage have become more and more apparent. The kitchen is the hub of our home, and even more so during the holidays. As most families can relate, we constantly spend time together in the kitchen. Our open floor plan (kitchen, living room and dining room) is something I absolutely love about our home. It creates an easy flow for entertaining and allows me to cook while also keeping an eye on Morgan in the other room. But the downside? Limited storage.
It’s been a while since I’ve sat down to write a post — and frankly, I don’t even know where to begin. Life has a way of shaking you up sometimes, and well, the last few months have certainly done that.
